SKYLINE BRANDING CASE STUDY
Building a Brand Landmark Above the City
Kiah Advertising fabricated and installed a monumental illuminated terrace sign for Sukhwani Kingsley, creating a commanding brand presence across the surrounding urban skyline.
Positioned at the top of a high-rise building, the installation combined large-scale dimensional lettering, bold red branding, structural engineering and uniform LED illumination to create a powerful architectural landmark.
The result was more than building signage — it became a highly visible brand marker that remained impactful from considerable distances, especially after dark.
THE CHALLENGE
How Do You Brand One of the Highest and Most Exposed Structures on a Site?
Terrace signage at this scale demands much more than attractive design.
The letters needed to maintain clean proportions and strong legibility from street level and across the surrounding skyline, while also remaining structurally secure in an exposed, elevated environment.
The project required us to solve:
- Large-scale letter fabrication
- Long-distance visibility and legibility
- Structural stability at terrace level
- Uniform illumination across every letter
- Accurate reproduction of the Sukhwani Kingsley brand identity
- Safe transportation and installation at height
- Weather-resistant materials and electrical components
- Clean finishing from multiple viewing directions
Most importantly, the installation had to complement the architecture rather than look like a conventional signboard simply attached to the building.

Maximum Visibility
The scale and bold red finish were developed to create immediate recognition against the surrounding cityscape.
Structural Precision
The signage had to remain secure and properly aligned despite its elevated and exposed position.
Consistent Brand Expression
Every letter needed to maintain the same depth, spacing, finish and illumination so the complete brand name would read as one cohesive identity. The result was a sign designed to work not only at close range, but as a recognizable visual marker across the skyline.
LIGHTING EXECUTION
Making Every Letter Glow With the Same Impact.
At this scale, illumination becomes a technical challenge of its own.
The internal lighting system was carefully planned to deliver a clean and consistent glow across every letter.
LED placement, internal spacing and diffusion were calibrated to minimize:
- Dark patches
- Excessive hotspots
- Uneven brightness
- Inconsistent illumination
The lighting intensity was balanced so the red signage remained vibrant and legible from a distance without compromising the clarity of the typography.
