CASE STUDY
Transforming a High-Visibility Mall Entrance into a Visual Landmark
For Amanora Mall, Kiah Advertising conceptualized, designed, fabricated and installed a large-scale entrance installation created to transform the mall’s primary approach into a memorable arrival experience.
The project brought together creative conceptualization, structural planning, custom fabrication, decorative production, lighting integration and on-site execution to create a large-format installation that could command attention across the expansive mall façade.
The result was more than an entrance decoration. It became a distinctive visual landmark designed to engage visitors from the moment they approached the property.
The installation needed to make a strong visual statement across a wide and highly visible entrance while maintaining clear pedestrian movement and uninterrupted access to the mall.
The scale and complexity of the project introduced several execution challenges:
The challenge was therefore not simply to design something visually impressive, but to create an installation that was structurally feasible, operationally practical and visually consistent at scale.
The creative direction was built around a simple idea: make the entrance itself part of the experience.
The decorative composition was developed to work with the existing scale and symmetry of the mall façade while introducing a more colourful and celebratory character.
Executing a large-scale structure within an operational mall environment required careful sequencing and coordination.
The installation team managed the complete on-ground process, including:
Transportation → Assembly → Structural Fixing → Alignment → Electrical Integration → Finishing → Final Inspection
Each section was positioned carefully to form one continuous visual composition across the entrance.
The final inspection focused on structural stability, electrical performance, alignment, finishing and overall visual consistency, ensuring that the completed installation met both creative and execution requirements.
Its monumental scale established a strong presence against the expansive façade, while the colourful floral structures, geometric framework and illuminated archways introduced depth and visual interest to the arrival zone.
From a distance: A strong visual landmark that immediately defined the entrance. At approach: A detailed decorative environment that revealed its layered forms and composition. At ground level: An engaging visitor experience that turned the arrival zone into more than simply a point of entry.
The result demonstrated how creative direction, structural thinking and production execution can work together to transform an otherwise functional space into a branded visual experience.
The Amanora Mall installation reflects Kiah Advertising’s ability to take ownership of complex, large-format environments where design, fabrication, engineering, logistics and execution have to function as one system.
The project was not simply about creating a large decorative structure.
It was about creating presence at scale—turning a high-visibility entrance into a landmark that could command attention, complement the architecture and create a memorable first impression.
Concept. Fabrication. Installation. One integrated execution.
